(About the Lake Chapala Area)
We are not the local Chamber of Commerce or paid promoters
of this area. Nor are we retired with too much time on our hands. So if
you want to ask us a question and expect us to take time out to reply,
we ask that you pay a small fee (totally refundable if we are unable to
answer your question).
Who We Are
The 'we' so often referred to in these pages are Andy and
Isabel. Andy is a hard working website craftsman and entrepreneur who
moved here in the year 2000, some time prior to his 50th birthday. Isabel
is his esteemed spouse, a native of Guadalajara, graduate of Guadalajara
University, artist and craftswoman of indeterminate (but certainly very
young) age.
We don't know everything, but we are not too shy to ask those
who do (or might) know. Questions that we feel may be of interest to others
will be listed here, along with our answers.
We are also willing to undertake any 'little task' that you
might need doing, within reason of course. If you need a picture taken of
a house you plan to rent, or need a copy of a legal form or anything that
is just easier done 'on site' then we can help. If you live here part-year
and need us to contact your gardner while you are in your summer home up
north, we can do that.
If you have a question or task for us, we only accept payment
through PayPal (they will take your credit card info or banking info). The
fee for most questions and simple tasks is U.S. $10. If the answer or task
would require us to pay fees or other expenses we will inform you in advance
and give you the option of a refund or further payment.
